About Tom Gumpel

Tom Gumpel is a seasoned hospitality professional with several decades of experience in the industry. Throughout his career he has worn many hats, including baker, pastry chef, educator, and vice president of research and development. Tom has worked with prestigious businesses such as the Culinary Institute of America as Associate Dean and Panera Bread serving as VP of R&D where he owned his skills and gained a wealth of knowledge in the field. He has also taken on consulting jobs around the globe, helping to develop culinary concepts and menus for various establishments.

 

Currently, Tom resides in Sarasota Florida, where he has embarked on a new career path as a real estate agent. He and his partner, Isha Demir have created a new real estate brand called Broker and Baker they aim to bring bakery and food culture to real estate in creative and imaginative ways. Tom’s extensive experience in the hospitality industry gives him a unique perspective and skill set that he can apply to his work in the real estate industry. With his passion for food and his expertise in the industry he is sure to make a name for himself in this new endeavor.
